MESSAGE FROM JANE! Hello, Jane Doe-dians! I have not forgotten about all of you and
miss your smiling faces. I recently was out performing with the Doe Boys and was
bombarded with questions, so I wanted to answer the most frequently asked ones so there is
no confusion (and no more questions!).
1. Are you sick? No, I am fine. My leaving Jane Doe was not for my
own health reasons.
2. Did you leave because of personality conflicts? No. I am very tight with all of my boys and we all get along famously.
3. With your voice, why do you want to stop singing? I will NEVER stop singing (God willing). I have chosen to take a break from public performances. I still sing all the time and am looking forward to collaborating with some other musicians to write and record original music.
4. When are you coming back? That's the 10 million dollar question...At this point, I really cannot say. Could be sooner, later, or never. However, it is clear that I can step back in at any moment and would be welcomed with open arms.
5. Don't you miss the spotlight? No! Surprisingly not! It took a little getting used to after having performed regularly for almost 7 years and not having dates booked on my calendar...but I'm liking it now. I like a wide open schedule and have the freedom to fly wherever, whenever.
6. Do you miss your fans? YES.
My fans and the fans of Jane Doe are priceless and I do miss them terribly.
But I hope that they will check out the guys' new project which is HOT-HOT-HOT
(www.enterdoghouse.com). Ya never know...you might see me at shows.
7. Do you have more recordings available on CD? I admit, there are some
recorded live performances and some studio tracks...but they have not been released as of
yet. Unknown if they will or not...
So I hope this answers most everyone's questions. I'm still around...just not in the
same way. Hugs to all....JANE.

BRIGHT LIGHTS & BRIGHTER STARS! Happy New Year! As promised, we have an exciting update for you
regarding the future of The Doe Boys! They have completed their new line up.
As one who has heard what is to come, this writer predicts it will be the best new band

As for Jane, she is in full support of the new project and knows that this could in fact
be the very coveted "lightning in a bottle." She is currently enjoying her
retirement (temporary or permanent is unknown?) and plans to use much of her now free time
focused on her ailing father and musically returning to her first love, the piano.
Jane wishes the boys the very best and hopes that you will join her in supporting the guys
in their new endeavor. .
AND THEY RODE OFF INTO THE SUNSET... The pix are now up! Jane Doe packed the house at Govnor's Public House for their final public performance! All of our fans, friends, families, old school mates, neighbors, and more gave us the most grand finale we could have asked for.

who drove three hours from Lincoln to see Jane Doe one last time. We cannot thank
you enough for your support and encouragement. It means more than words can say.
It was a rockin' night, yet very bittersweet. Difficult to walk away after so many
years having the privilege to entertain so many wonderful people. Thank you from the
bottom of our collective hearts for all of the support, fun, joy, and love you have given
us over the years as a band. You will be missed...
But...never fear, kiddies. A reliable source tells us that the boys of Jane Doe may be continuing on with a new project. Continue to watch this space for more goodies and announcements. Let's give little Jane a chance to catch her breath...and who knows what might occur...
